To promote Innovation and Technology (I&T) culture in the community, InnoCarnival 2022, organised by the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, is to take place from 22 to 30 October 2022 at the Hong Kong Science Park.This year, the InnoCarnival is also one of the major celebration events for the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).
Themed ”Innovation & Technology empower our dreams”, the nine-day carnival welcomes the whole community to join in the fun and enjoy a wide range of interactive and educational activities, including the showcase of local inventions and research achievements, InnoTech online workshops, online seminars and interactive games.
Aptamer drug Apc001 developed by HKAP participated in the "Innovation Carnival 2022" exhibition. The Apc001 project is mainly exhibited from two themes. Theme 1 is: "Combating bone loss caused by microgravity in space exploration, and a new drug approved by the US FDA Orphan Drug for the treatment of Osteogenesis Imperfecta"; Theme 2 is: "Innovative Space Application Syringe Design". The leaders of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, under the leadership of Professor Sun Dong, the Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, visited the booth of Apc001.
